My solo show in Dublin was postponed. There were some problems at the gallery: invitations were not printed yet, the opener was not yet decided, etc. etc. Now I breath again, there is always so much stress before a solo show and more when so many things are still missing. It would be nice if the exhibition is shifted to April. I keep fingers crossed for April :) ----- Mi exposición individual en Dublin se postergó. Hubo algunos problemas en la galería: las invitaciones aún no estaban impresas, el presentador aún no se había decidido, etc. etc. Respiro de nuevo, siempre hay demasiado stress antes de una muestra individual y más cuando aún tantas cosas faltan. Sería muy bonito si la exhibición la trasladaran para abril. Mantengo mis dedos cruzados por Abril :)

Finally I went to see this exhibition. It is overwhelming... although I have recently been in many fabulous Art Museums in Europe I wasn't touched in the way this exhibition did. I know that Rothko's paintings seem to be simple... but they are not. In order to get those colours the painter has managed to put layers and layers of different colours in order to get at the end that unique vibration. Out of the blue I was touched by so many feelings... This painting: Red on Maroon was the one that impact me the most. ------- Finalmente fuí a ver esta exposición. Es abrumadora... a pesar que he estado ultimamente en muchos Museos de arte fabulosos en Europa, no me habían conmovido de la manera en que esta exposición lo hizo. Sé que las pinturas de Rothkoo parecen ser simples... pero no lo son. Para poder obtener esos colores, el pintor tuve que poner capas y cpas de diferentes colores para poder llegar a esa única vibración final. De pronto me ví sumegida por tantos sentimientos.....

Trains and boats and planes... I thought I will never get tired of them, but I did... now I am very happy to be again at home, and I can hardly wait to start drawing and painting again :) Here I am posting some pics of the last country I have visited last year: Portugal. ------- Trenes y barcos y aviones... pensé que nunca me cansaría de ellos, pero sí lo hice... ahora estaoy muy feliz de estar de nuevo en casa y apenas puedo esperar para retomar los pinceles de nuevo :) Estas fotos son del último país en el que estuve el año pasado: Portugal.
