A leap of faith
13 years ago I took a leap of faith and came with my family to London. I thought it was going to be easy. It was not. I thought that because during my youth I lived in another country, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. That other country was Germany, and since then I longed for Europe, well I confess I still do… because you should know, England is not Europe. Of course this is my very personal view. I was born in Mexico City, a vibrant and chaotic city. Mexico is a surreal beautiful country. When you are abroad you worth it even more. You might wondered then, why did we decide to leave Mexico? Well, we decided to leave Mexico because my country was becoming very insecure. It was during president Calderon’s failed drug war. A mi también me gustó mucho, por eso lo puse... este video fue hecho por un joven mexicano de 24 años que ganó el premio por mejor cortometraje online en Cannes... se dice mucho que es un plagio porque hay un video español con la misma idea, pero yo ví ese video y no conmueve en cambio éste a mi sí me llegó... no digo que sea la maravilla pero este joven lo hizo todo con un presupuesto de menos de 2500 dólares y creo yo que con ese pequeño presupuesto logró un gran resultado.
